Formly the shop was home of Mike’s famous fish and chips, but now with new owners we are Inverurie’s ‘High Street Fish Bar’ we strive to serve you only the very best in Fish and Chips, King Ribs, Chicken Fillets, White Puddings or anything else we have on offer to the North East.
By being passionate about the food that we cook. We only use the best tatties, freshly landed fish along with all other produce being of the highest quality, only then can we expect you to keep coming back for more. Then there’s our batter! ‘Best Batter makes Better’ it might sound corny, but we know that there’s nothing worse than a bad batter, it has to be crisp, golden and tasty! Once the effort has been made in the preparation it’s then down to the team at Inverurie Fish Bar to do their bit and once everything comes together we know that you’ll tell your friends and you’ll come back for more!
But the proof is definitely in the tasting, and we don’t want you to just try us the once, we want you to return. (most of our customers do!)
From kids meals to OAP’s with everyone in between we want to try and please as many folk as we can. Kids meals come with a free soft drink. Kids meals don’t need to be served in a kids box whilst you don’t need your bus pass to prove you are an OAP if you want to order the smaller fish. Also if you want a smaller portion of chips with a regular dish we do ‘half portions’ of chips too. So no matter what you see on the menu, however old you we can accomodate to your requirements.
Sandra (Inverurie) – Love the batter that covers the fish that melts in your mouth. Aye I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a Haddock supper that tasted so fine. My six year old son was disappointed after he’d finished his sausage, because it was that fine! “Can we get that again sometime?”. Quite the compliment.
Morag (Inverurie) – I’ve been a regular at the chipper for months, and I’ve converted a couple of friends too. Husband always goes for the Mock Chop. Reckons it’s the best he’s tasted.
Suzanne and Julie (The Port) – I’ve had too many bad suppers, where the chips are overcooked or the batter is a mushy mess. Never had any complaints from the past few months. Keep it up team.
Derek (Oldmeldrum) – I was last in the place when it was the tasty tattie (I’m that old). Had a fine, fish supper. Actually too fine – we came back the next night. haha.
Sandra (Kemnay) – You can’t beat their burgers! Best in the North East for the them. Now I’ve got my boyfriend hooked on them too! Worth the trip from Kemnay just to get one. 🙂
